Justice and Fate

Life isn't fair with justice corrupted and fate that is cruel
This life that I live is a never ending duel.
All the innocent in this world die without a say
and those in power, the people do they betray.
Meanwhile those with lives not so bad
complain and whine about everything they never had.
An x-box, an ipod, a TV, and some junk
They complain about what they wanted, that their lives stunk.
Meanwhile children who are starving don't have the choice to complain
and they work their tired muscles, they move and they strain
for a better life, for their next meal they dream
while they eat meager meals, drink from polluted streams.
And then there are those who live innocently and quiet
but through some unruly tantrum, an obnoxiously loud riot
where gunshots are heard and some people get drunk, angry and loud
they randomly start shooting into the crowd.
Innocent lives are lost everyday
while people with lives simply say
that they have a hard life
full of pain, full of strife
when they dismiss all the pain out across the seas
and ignore the lone cries and the desperate pleas.
The innocent die while the ignorant whine
and the stars black out where they could have shined.
Life isn't fair,fate is cruel and unkind
but I look for the day when I shall find
people being equal, all helping one another to get by
and that is the future I want, so I try
but the ignorant are blind and deaf, the suffering covered and hidden from view
And so reality hit me hard, this is the world we live in, me and you
Where Life itself is a scam, justice a fraud, truth a lie
And this is the world that I try to defy.

Rise against these boundaries, these walls
and cruelty, neglect, all these shall fall
on the day when the people finally wake up from this nightmare
This horrible dream we all live in and a devastated world we all share.
I want to live in this dream no more
so tell me, what do you fight for?
